BD '11 Turbo Kit Upgrade Status?

Just curious as to if any of you that are doing the Boondocker Upgrade on your 2011 Pro's, have recieved the new parts yet. Still waiting on mine and don't want to call them everyday to check on status (figure the less I bother them, the more time they got to get parts built and shipped).

Just so everyone knows: I am not trying to get responses from anyone badmouthing BD (or any other Turbo Co.), and telling me that they are screwing us all around, and are using us as test dummies. Sick of seeing that on here and feel that there is no need for it. I am a VERY satisfied BD Turbo (repeat) owner.

I just talked to Justin Barnes the other day, He said pretty much anytime they should be ready(obviously no guarantees). Im confident they will be ready to go pretty quick.

so am I the only sucker that tore my charge tube/airbox off my sled to send it off to boondocker, and then recieved a phone call 30 minutes after I dropped it off at ups stating that I no longer need to send my parts?

Lol. That sucks man. I was going to, but I called and talked to Jared first and got the scoop.

How much boost are you guys planning on?

Last season 9# constant, and 11 on the button. 50/50 110/non Eth

I'm planning on the same for this season, and hoping that I can boost it to 15# for when the turbo cats are lined up in the bowl after a 4' dump.

X2.

I'm thinking I'll run between 10-12 (hopefully 12) regularly, but it really depends on how the sled takes to the new setup. I got used to the way it ran last year at 9-11 PSI, but with the IC and new injectors being utilized, it is essentially a totally different kit now. Gotta think it will be nothing but better, so I'm hoping the higher boost #'s run well with the motor.

What are you guys that plan on running higher boost going
To do about your skid?
Every time I went to 10#'s the front end was up in the air.

Last year I had Carl's Cycles set me up with their shock upgrade package for that skid. I gave them my riding weight w/gear, and had them valve everything for high boost and large hits/drops. It was a huge improvement on the WE stock shocks. Having owned a turbo dragon previously with a Timbersled, I will say that the Timbersled rear skid, definitely keeps the front down more under boost, than what I'm using now. Gonna see if this setup works with more boost this year, and then will switch skids if needed.

Ive got the 2012 and was wondering what i should do? What does the upgrade cost? Whats included?
Thanks in advance.

I called yesterday and was told that the people who ordered just the airbox update are recieving their parts.
Intercooler guys (I was told that there were more orders than expected) are waiting on intercooler. All parts are in stock, just waitng for bd to finish building the intercooler.

All the upgrade is, is a Fox Zero Pro coil over center shock, and a Fox Evol Rear shock. They will valve them to your specs. Cant remember what it cost, but they should have it on the Carl's Cycles web page

Has anyone herd the. Sweet status on the intercooler upgrade? Are they shipping soon? I have already called a couple times but I hate bugging them.
Spoke with Pete on Monday. Said they were in the process of building the intercoolers, and they would begin shipping as soon as they got them finished. Hoping to get them all sent at the same time is the way I took it. Hopefully they ship this week.

I am very curious as to the status on the turbos as well. The complete kits??? Has anyone received theirs yet??

Sam

I did a complete Kmod Gen 2 under mine last year at 12 lbs and was more than impressed. Several of my buddies are going with his Polaris "kits" this year with the Raptor shocks.. I'll keep you posted.
