Barkbuster Front Suspensions

yes...steering is tighter, and takes away some of the odd handling in corners for the trails....as far as on the hill, it carves better, and can hold lines VERY well...

only had mine stock for two rides so, cant really tell you a lot of comparison...

It always felt to me like any weight off the front end was a big help as the Nytro is a bit nose heavy to begin with.

An Observation

I do not ride a Yamaha. However, I was out riding w/ Alan from Timbersled on his Nytro fully equipped with Timbersled front & rear suspensions. There were three other individuals on brand new Nytro's in the stock configuretations & suspensions. We all ride on a regulare basis together & up to this particulare lake often. This particulare day happened to be one of the deepest powder days in very tight technical tree terrain that day. As we made the first ascent through the trees, my husband & I waited at the top of the first ascent for the others. Alan came ripping up w/ no problem & waited also. The other three guys were dispersed below & had been sucked into tree wells right & left. I observed that the stock Nytro's w/ stock suspensions tended to have this continual handling problems throughout the day with thier sleds, as where Alan's Nytro was having zero issues with handlemobility. To give you an idea of the skill level of these three other individuals, all three of these riders have grown up with Alan & ride at the same skill level. All three of these guys INSTALLED front & rear Timbersled suspensions with in aprox two weeks AFTER this particulare ride. They no longer had negative handling issues with thier Nytros.

Hopes this helps,
Amber

Amber, no one is going to believe you, as you said a Nytro was able to climb in tight trees... :) now we are going to go into a tail spin of someone talking about what is tight trees etc. etc.

I have front and back Timbersled on my Nytro and will NOT have a sled without it now...it is INCREDIBLE, but back to the front, I agree with SnowJW it is the balancing act for pulling weight off the front, and going with a lighter battery will get you balanced weight off when you do the TimberSled skid, as you pull nearly 40 lbs. off...

So do the FULL boat if you are going to do it!!!

Here is mine...(LOTS done to it since this pic but you get the idea)
