Thinking about riding baker sat. How far up is the parking?

Parking is way, way, way high up. It is well above the the 3rd switchback past the Y where you go left to Blue Lake right to Schreibers. You won't believe how far up it is!! Best thing about that is the mogul riding is almost as short as it would be if it were Memorial Day.

Ya, unless some idiot parks in it. Seems like that has been happening alot this year.

My buddy still has a job unike me so he's saturday only.
I'll be up there early tomorrow cause we both have to be home for dinner at a friends house at 4:30 so that means I gotta burn a tank of gas by noon!
I hope theres some snow left up there that isn't all tracked up..... A week of sunshine = poopy tracked up baker......we'll see.
It would'nt bother me if you were parked there brent, I at least would know I could get a cold one!
If we don't get any low snow soon we won't be riding there much longer. From where we parked today there were alot of bare spots along the way. Another low rain and we will be parking 1/4 mile past the gravel pit.
Why can't these idots figure it out and not park in the turn arounds.
I would give odds that the idiots who park in the turnarounds are some of the ones who are leaving their garbage on the mountain. I've seen posts on here showing pictures of people parked right next the the no parking sign. There was a car parked right smack in the middle of the turnaround at GC yesterday all day long (was there when we got there and still there when we left), just a few yards away from the sign that says "turnaround area, no parking beyond this point".
That's about the 4th or 5th time I've seen a car (or two) parked in the turnaround at GC (X country skiers I assume). I've not yet seen any sledders parked past the sign.
Of course places like Baker don't have signs because the parking area is constantly changing. Whenever you have to depend on people to use some common sense or show some consideration/responsibility, there will always be a few who are completely lacking of those traits.

Ya I hear that, last time I rode up there I told some guy not to park there, and he looked at me like "who the F are you" to tell me where to park. I said well I sure hope all your tires still have air in them when you get back, anyone that drives up here an cant turn around is gona take it out on ur truck. He moved about 5 min later.

We changed their name for x country skiers to SLAT RATS!....And when I called a friend of mine that he was'nt very happy for some reason?
