My pleasure Troy. I hope I made your 1st Baker trip the best it could be. We certainly had some of the best conditions you could hope for.
I remember my 1st Bearpaw trip and how my 2 partners wouldn't go down the backside of the widowmaker. It was on a 2 foot Tuesday with Bluebird and absolutely no one else there but us three. I blazed up the widowmaker from the upper leftside which isn't the way to go. We'll anyway a lone rider showed up and dropped down with me behind and the 2 of us had the next 2 areas to ourselves and I have not been able to match that day since.
It was truely remarkable.

Thanks Steve for the awesome tour and sending those pics! Great day on the hill and I'll agree that the sledding was better than turns. Wish I didn't have to leave so early.

@Scott- this is my first season skimobiling and gotta say it has been better than lifts. I have AT boots with a walk mode that helps, but wearing ski boots is definitely awkward. Snowboarding would be much easier for riding, comfort, weight, driving ect.

Definite slide activity that day, mostly due to wind loading in my opinion. Just cause it's been sunny doesn't mean other factors (sun, wind, crevases) can't affect danger levels.
