The snow bridge is one issue to deal with. The other is that the meadow is low and needs to get over two feet of snow to ride in. Don't think the snow level has been low enough to cover the meadow. Look at I-90--don't think its deep enought there yet.

Dont ride Shreibers early!!!

Not a good idea to try Shreibers before the two foot mark, good way to get that area closed to snowmobiling forever. Let's not ruin it.

68" base as of today at the ski hill. Frac me man!!! Though, it is all freshy and should compact down pretty good. Interesting as last week they had a base of 2" ha ha..

shreibers elevation is damn close to the base elevation of the Baker ski hill isn't it?

sure theres a nice pack of snow building up now..

What is the elevation at the bridge?? The one at the trail head, not the snow bridge.

The toilets and Schreiber's Meadows are at about 3300'. The "snow bridge" before Peanut Knob is probably right around 4000'.

Yeah, the meadows are high enough but remember the vegetation there is sensitive and snowmobile damage is highly scrutinized by the non-snomo crowd. Even if there is 2ft at the bridge to the meadows we need a good freeze/thaw cycle to get a good base then more snow before heading up there. Plus the FS has to officially open it up first anyways.
