Going to Baker sometime this week for a few days. Never riden there before. Need good info or someone who knows the area Don't want to destroy sled or body.Both are dear to me, one more so than the other, that being the sled as primero!!!! HELP

i would wait and go up after ther is more snow my sorces tell me its not that great right now and we will have some weather moving in monday night so visability will suck when there is more snow and better weather there will be lots of people up there to help show you around

Yeah I hear you, I was thinking about Wed. or Thurs. I was going up for a few days with the Motorhome and stay in the snowpark. My buddy was going to follow me up in his truck, so we could trailer the snowmobiles up to the snowline. Anyway that was my plan, Best I could think of since I've never been there before.Heard unload was 3rd switchback from snowpark, therefore the extra vehicle. Didn't want to try to turn around motorhome on road,even though it is only 23' I appreciate any feedback at all on this !!! HELP!!!!

hmm, I don't understand the recommendation against going there. It seems like the best local place to camp and ride in Western WA. You haven't ridden there before but don't worry. Take the correct turns to Schreibers Meadows then follow the trail up to Hood Hill/RailRoad Grade. If the weather is good (not socked in) then poke around but keep your bearings. Honestly, it's hard to get lost there. Have fun and Happy New Year!!
We were up there today. Parking was close to the green gate, snow was HARD and icy

BTW make sure you have snopark passes/sled tabs, F/S was writing a lot of tickets today.

Ahhhh Yes! Officer Smith is back!! This brings back some fond memories from last year!!
Easy fix, buy the tabs which gets you a snow park pass which pays for the grooming. The money from "officer Smith" tickets does nothing for grooming.
