After 8 miles of frozen bumps we found some nice snow. Ran into 4 guys trying to pull out a sled with a broken chain. the 1/4" emergency pull rope was not working well so I cut off a piece of my 100' rope I carry and gave it to them. After about an hour of trying to help them pull them up the hill with 2 sleds and darkness closing in they gave in and said we will just leave it and bring in parts tomorrow. Those gullys we ride in always are hard to get a sled out of. I hope they can make the repairs and get out today, might be another heli trip.
