1- A lesson for any and all reading this thread.... Someday it will be you and the help you get could very well be in direct proportion to the help you have given, thank you for the help.
Some call it Karma. lol Help others and in turn when you need it they will (or should) be there for you. I think I am indebted to you, severely! First LAST FREAKING May you help rebuild Naomi after the cliff thing and you don't even know me! Now you do it again, but this time as my friend. Thank you!
2- Good news, I received the title to my new sled today!!! $275.00 too late!
Figures.... oh well, atleast BOTH of our tickets should be beatable!
4- If ever in trouble, you will want Modsledr and Coyotegirl on your side.
Brent has the muscle, I make ya laugh..........
5- I am thankful for a wife that will gladly sacrifice her day for the benefit of others without hesitation or question. I love you RMKueen!
Absolutely one of the most unselfish peeps I know. All around her are lucky. (including me)
6- There are those in life that Make Things Happen, those that Watch Things Happen, and those that simply ask What Happened?
I make things happen, it just generally ends up needing someone to come in and fix it..................
CG, the knee is good! I think the multiple 200lb squats is working wonders!!

(I was REALLY worried there were injuries when I read the title - HIGHLY relieved....
Unfortunately there was an injury when the rope broke on Saturday night, striking Brandy in the hand! Within minutes it was swollen to a point where I was sure it had been broken?? This event took the wind out of our sails on Saturday night. I was sure she would not be able to return Sunday, but nope, she's tough, tough, tough!!
I'm still amazed at the size of the Goose egg on the back of her hand!!!

Woah, CG, I thought there was something going on from your posts over on the LR but I havne't been keepin up... YIKES!! Glad you got her out ok though -eventually... I have a buddy who keeps a chainsaw whinch in his truck just for that reason!! We have had NO luck trying to tow up hills -even with some big mods sleds!!
I was nervous to open this thread and see that YOU had gotten hurt. After last years deal I'm glad it was just an issue with the sled; and some minor hand carnage... least you hurt your hand riding (or resucing) I hurt mine GARDENING and now I dunno what it's going to do for my dirtbiking season!!

You should have had graveler fly you out!!!!! Although he is a few hours away from his commercial rating!!! But then no risk no reward right??
Any chance that was was Mr. Huffman that was so nice to ticket you up there? He has been raising hell all over the place for months now. I am also a couple hundred bucks poorer for riding a quad on a dirt road on the mountain last summer. Said it has to be street legal in order to ride on a forest service road. Lots of complaints about this guy up there in Bellingham in court. Very aggressive also. He seems to think everyone is out to hurt him and wants to make sure we are all aware that he has a gun and a tazer. He reached for his tazer the day he ticketed us and told us we were invading his personal space. Quite a piece of work. Hopefully he finds work somewhere else- The east coast MIGHT be far enough away.
Just drove past skagit valley polaris this morning and saw Naomi sitting in the parking lot by the shop all cold and wet....
Next time ya need help getting a sled off the hill call me........I will be there.
No Doubt--Mark will help!! He is one of the ones you talk about B--Ask and he will be there--great guy to know for sure!!
Glad to see you got the sled out-Great group of riders to help you get out though-even if it took 2 days. Sorry to hear about the hand--Hope it heals up quick.
