I think you deserve to be praised just as much as you should be bashed if you aren't doing your job. That being said you did a great job Monday. Had I known we were going to be ripping home on velvety smooth groomers on Monday I probably would have stayed up on the mountain for at least another hour. Keep up the good work ??

Agreed. Just coming oFF the mountain and we had fresh trail on the way in, and then on the way out we met him at the top of the meadow. Told him the trail is looking great, thanks, and keep up the good work. He groomed up past the snow bridge as well. Thank you groomer!

So why have we had to put up with crappy grooming for so many years? I think he owes the snowmobilers some free grooming. Now we all know he can do it right.

I'm sure with all the wonderful things you guys said about him in the other post he felt that he should go above and beyond and do the best job he has ever done! :thumb:

We shouldn't have to shame him into doing a good job.
If grooming was done right this thread would not have been started.

easy to say when your 28 yrs old. in 20 more years you will understand

I agree. And an other thing to think about is when you try to bring your young family for a ride. No family is going to bring there kids on a trail that is that rough. The only people riding are the hard core riders. We will lose the next generation of riders.

This is true although my 7 year old could care less long as he rides. The 2 year old just sleeps lol.

But have you been to Schreiber's? Or Glacier creek? Or Canyon creek?
Just saying.
Glad your kids like to ride, keep the sport alive.

Grooming at Salmon la Sac also supports the rental business out there. There are a LOT of rental sleds nowadays, which is probably a good sign for the sport. And, that groomer driver is a stud! Smooth and fast, without unnecessarily high walls on the side. You can still poach snow on the edges for cooling most of the time. Wish there was an easy way to raise funds to keep it going through March (in good snow years). I'd pay double the registration fee if they would groom for an additional month, but I know many others disagree. Maybe a crowdsourcing or something.
