Baker creek xing

Was up hiking on Biker today and noticed someone spent some time creating a rock bridge acrossed the creek crossing. Looks like a lot of work was done and the water still flows under the big boulders. Should make early season a bit easier on us. Also buffed out the first climb up from the creek except two mondo boulders. Dont know who did it but fuganA my arms hurt!!!

Fak yeah!!! nice work to you and who ever else. the sooner we cross the better!

:thumb: Good preseason workout, maybe next week you could take it up a notch and do the same thing to the WATERFALL, save somebody from a bad day. :fear:

Yeah....prob with the waterfall is that by the time 90% of the riders are able to ride there the snow is 10' deep and a lil pile of rocks wouldn't even show anymore. You'll have to talk someone into marking it with poles and moving them as the snow gets deeper and deeper.

Yeah, I agree.

We talked about this after that accident at the end of last season.

I propose a couple 20' bamboo poles with some orange construction netting between them. Once people see it and what its for, I think everyone would move it up as needed.

I understand there's a liability issue, but if good citizen were to magically put it there, kind of like how that neat rock bridge appeared, all would be good. :face-icon-small-win

I have a bundle of (12 ) 1" diameter x 8' high bamboo poles and 100' of 4' high orange heavy duty construction plastic fencing I'll be placing up there this year.......With the permission of the Mt.Baker Ranger Station. Don't want to see anymore helo's lifting injured people out of there!:plane:

Rope between the bamboo is much easier to dig out after a storm and is fairly visible if it has a flag every 6' or so.

Buried fencing is quite difficult to extract.

Whatever markings are up there I'm sure everyone will help keep it dug out and upright.
