Baker....Conditions????

just seeing if anyone out there can let me/us know what the conditions at baker are right now...thinking about going monday..thanks in advance!!

Also, How is the trail from the snowpark around NRA ?

THinking of going up to baker for the 1st time this year as well.

With the snopark being so low hows the trail ? Is there alot of dirt riding?

Plenty of snow on the road up as of last week. The big question is when it was groomed last. I saw the groomer coming down highway 20 today but I don't know if he was on Baker of not. The only dirt to contend with is in the parking lot or crossing the road at the start of the snow. Should be good to go.

Groomed once a week now... to little in my opinion. Grooming schedule on website is a rough guide at best...

Just went up to baker on Friday. The trail wasn't too bad. about 8" of new with a litttle deeper to the right of meadow around 6 to 7000 ft. It seemed like most areas had a crust under the new snow. we saw a few avanches break loose but they did not grow very big because of the small amount of new snow. We still had a great day
