This is from an e-mail I received from my friend who was able to ride last Saturday. My sled broke down 30 feet from the truck and was not able to go.
You did not miss much. Fog socked in the hood hill elevation. We went up about a thousand feet and got above the clouds, which was nice and sunny. It had rained the night before, so there was a crust all the way to 7000 ft. Didn't go any higher...for obvious reasons. I never made it over to big house. They need a LOT more snow to cover the rocks, creek, trees and crevasses.
