Baker conditions this week? (May 17th, 2011)

Any word on Baker conditions this week? Thinking about going Thurs. 5/19 and was particularly interested in if there's much bare road riding up to Schriber's.

Any info would be appreciated!

Went up today with a buddy. We were the only ones there all day. Fresh snow from last night and sun for most of the day. Plenty of fresh left. Your parking on the road about 1 mile up from the upper parking lot (sled deck only, wouldnt try a trailer or you will be riding dirt). The road is in great shape from there. Once your up top its impressive how much snow is there.

Thanks for the update. Going to try to make it over there myself maybe next week.

Wont be a problem!! Its really impressive how much snow is still up there. Well over the 2 feet the forest service requires at the campground. I thought when we went up yesterday that we would be much higher up the road for unloading than we were. Once you get up top I couldnt believe how well things are covered. I would say its at least another 6 weeks before it closes down.
