Baker 2-19-11 Pic and Video Thread, Post'em up.

Hey Flakey, was that you at The Birdseye sat after riding? Good to meet whoever you were down there!

Side note, I picked up excessive amounts of trash where everyone was hanging in salad bowl. Same pigs? Very ****ty of them. How can you be in such a wonderful and pristine place and discard your beer cans and food wrappers on the clean white snow? Blows me away. this was in the middle of the plateau. Wow.

Back to topic- Everyone's pics and video of our fortunate day look awesome! I'm still very sore:) Very weird day for me as I think I fell off my damn sled about five times. Lmao! I don't normally do that:) My sled was a bucking bronco over them damn trenches...one of my falls actually found my foot stuck in the "stirrup" dragging me along side the track in a contorted position. Ouch. Hurt a little but I was ok. Lol

Flakey

Im super impressed with the go pro footage, I used my vio pov 1.5 for half the day, and it don't come close in video quality and the sound is awful all you can hear is wind. The only thing that was holding me back from buying one was the didnt have a LCD for seeing playback and What you are pointing at. I looked on there website last night and they just came out with an lcd for these cameras its pretty sweet it snaps on the back in to one of the ports and comes with a new case extended case. You could shoot a full snowmobile movie just about not including long shots with these cameras now.

All I can say is epic epic epic. sorry for those that couldnt make it up. but glad there wasnt any more peeps than there was. World class day!

Yeah, I'm really impressed with the quality as well. Light makes a big difference. I was up there on a cloudy day and it didn't come close.

I also heard about the screen. Nice new feature. I accidentally took some stills with my gopro that same day(had it on the wrong setting) and they turned out really nice too. Very cool. I like that you can set it or 5 different video qualitys and also take still pictures in single, timed, or bursts, or every 3 seconds, 5 seconds, and so on. The options are endless. Totally waterproof is great for sleddng. To 180' I believe.

It sells for $300 retail but I got mine online for around $250 last spring. Ebay I think.

Very happy with it.

Wasn't me. :)

Totally agree about the garbage. Some people have NO RESPECT for what God created and blessed us with outdoors. It's pathetic.

Agree, I wonder if they the Meadow pigs are the ones who park in front of others blocking or restricting acess to others vehicals, tail gating others up the mountian ( reckless ) ? I am sure it is a matter of time before they ( the Enviros ) get us kicked out of this area because of our lazy fellow slobby sled bros who are simple minded self indulging drunken fools who think they are ultra cool.

Fortunatly most of this community are top notch citizens and care. We as a user group can not and should tolerate the thought of surrendering and area as serene as this due to ignorance of the pigs. Confront these people in all snow parks, explain to them as you pick up there garbage and then hand it to them, remember they don't have the ball bearings to fight you.

As for Saturday, it was epic and unbelivable day, thanks to all those who clean up others craaap, they are the true keepers of our riding rights.

After my multiple concussion, wrist breaking, subdermal hematoma visits to Harborview ICU.....I finally got to get out on the mountain Friday and Saturday to take a mellow baby ride. Here's a little footage.

I'm alive and well
