Back Packs?

If you don't need a bunch of storage, the Camelbak Menace (Outlaw Series) is a good recommendation. 70oz bladder w/ insulation around hose. It is made for back country skiers so it is lightweight and holds close to your body with two front clik straps. There is also a designated location for probes, shovel, and shovel handles. I love getting back to the truck at the end of the day and forgetting it was even on.

I'm in need of a new pack this year too... I really want an ABS, and I hate to say it, but it's just not in the cards this year.

My buddy is a huge board guy, and he swears by this massive 38L Burton pack. He said i could borrow it to see if i like it.

I like the Ogio Three6, but i can't find one anywhere... Other than that i'm really into the Camelbak Menace.

And the HMK pack with the probe and shovel. It says "Internal Hydration pocket, with hose port / Hydration System not included". Where to I get a Hydro pack for it??

My Dakine Team Skateboard pack blew goats last year; it didn't have room for avy gear and was so akward that it usually ended up strapped to the tunnel.

Just FYI, here are some links that tell of Burton and CamelBak (and some other companies) giving to the envro-zealots:

Winter Wildlands supported by these folks (you can click the other links to find out more and who else)

Conservation Alliance with an article here on amounts, plus money given here and here. There are more, but just posted a few sites in case you're interested to know that the money you spend with these folks partially goes to shutting us down.
