Looking for input on the Axys Windshield Bags (both sizes).

Is there enough room in the small version for a set of goggles??

Has anyone try the larger bag with the small windshield?

Cheers!

I have the larger bag (2880374) with the stock small windshield on my 2017 800 rmk. Its snug but fits. It sticks out above the windshield. I think it looks ok. Room for goggles, spare gloves, GPS, stocking hat. Thats about it.

Thanks for the reply!
Any chance you could post a pic?

I went with the Low Pro windshield bag. It has plenty of rooms for a set of goggles, gloves, and hat, but it does extend slightly past the windshield. While it works well and looks ok I would probably order the Dan Adams NXT Level windshield bag if I had it to do over. I like the fact it just replaces the small windshield.

I put the nxt level bag on my 2017. I am gonna try out this weekend on my first ride this year. So far I like it and looks good. Room for googles, water, thin pair of gloves.

big one

I bought the big one and i have a short windshield. It seems like it should be just fine as the bag has some decent structure to it. The big one is plenty big for the goggle or two that I want to put in there, now I'm just hoping I can get enough heat up in there to actually defog the goggles. I pulled the hood off and drilled all the holes bigger to try to get more airflow up in there. We will see when the fog days hit just exactly how well it does.

Mid-high windshield with large windshield bag works perfectly.
The dash bag is a very nice addition too!

I have the big bag but the mid height windshield. Fits really well. Seems very big. I easily fit a set of goggles in it, not sure what else will fit but there is plenty of room left.

My question is how much heat to these produce? Will they clear up fogged goggles very quickly?

Thanks,
Andy

I have the Lo-pro bag with low windshield. I was surprised how much room it actually had. I should be able to fit a pair of goggles, water bottle, phone, and a hat in it pretty easily. Maybe a small pair of gloves too. They are nice rigid quality as well. Not cheap though, but what's new? :face-icon-small-ton

I lke that Nxtlvl bag too, a little pricey for me as I get a decent Polaris discount.

To any of those with the Nxtlvl bag ...How do they compare as far as room and fitment?? How are they fastened?

The big bag without the windshield actually doesn't look too bad, and saves the busted windshield scenario, just wondering how robust the fasteners are and how it will fare when rolling out of a stuck?

I just installed the low profile one under the low windshield last night. I wasn't fond of the fitment around the console and had to work the bag a little to get each of the four tabs to line up. It seems like there is some pressure there and like you mentioned, I'm not sure how four plastic fasteners will hold during a roll over.

Storage wise it seems like it will be nice. All I'll use it for is goggles and a toque but there is some room to spare.
