AXYS Reflash

Just got a call from my dealer he said he received a service bulletin saying the AXYS needs a reflash. Anybody know anything about this or what the changes will be?

I pick mine up Friday but a buddy who picked his up a few weeks back was called by the dealer to bring it back for reflash also.

The reflash takes it from the advertised hp down to a reliable 143hp.

HaHa to be honest that is why I was asking. I remember back in 2008 when they had a reflash and a new head and the power went down. Don't want to take it in to be reflashed if it is going to run worse when I get done.

The bulletin states that the incorrect speedometer pulse per mile calculation was enter into the ecu during production on a select number of pro Rmks which causes the cluster to display approximately 1/2 the actual speed.

So.....with my arithmetic skills, I figure your sled will go twice as fast when you do the reflash!!!!??

It just fixes the way the sled calculates your MPH which in turn changes your ODO to collect correct data.
