AXYS not drop and rolled?

"The entire platform is raised 1-3/8 inches thanks to taller spindles and elevated running boards. The drive shaft and four rear suspension mounting points remain in the same relative position as the previous Pro RMK, but the rest of the chassis is raised for improved snow clearance, less drag, better sidehilling and improved handling. With the running boards lifted 1-3/8-inches out of the snow, the Axys Pro RMK can cut a better sidehill without the body of the sled panelling out and hanging up in the snow."

so according to this, the axys driveshaft and mounting points are the same relative to the pro? and it just has taller spindles and running boards are higher on the tunnel. i was kinda under the impression that the axys had a drop and roll of sorts compared to the pro.

It actually is dropped slightly. 1/4"-3/8" at the drive shaft (IIRC). Nearly nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Definitely not the 1 1/2"-2" I would have liked to have seen. So you are not relegated to 6 Tooth drivers to run the new 3.2" track.

The C-2-C dimension of the jack/drive shafts are about .23" longer on the AXYS.

That alone will not dictate the position... The important measurement for this is clearance in the tunnel... what is the distance from the roof of the tunnel and the exit of the tunnel in relationship to the centerline of the driveshaft.

I hope that we can get some good, accurate measurements here soon.
