Axys broken engine mounts and crank snapped off.

Cruising on CL and I found a 16 axys 800 that the crank snapped off.
Both of the PTO side engine mount arms on the lower case half broke as well.

Not sure what happened first, crank or mounts, but it did a number for sure.

Anybody see anything like this before?
What causes it?

Sled has under 1000 miles and the owner says it was not in a wreck and it still starts/runs good and bulkhead, tunnel and suspension are all straight on it.

I seen tha one to. I haven't heard of that happening before and really got me wondering if he hit something on the clutch side to snap the crank and mounts.

my brother bought a wrecked sled with broken motor mounts. (Tunnel crinkled)

hard hit on the left bulkhead.
