Axys 800 vs. 600 operating temp

I've noticed a big temp difference between my 800 and my buddy's 600 operating temp when riding in the same conditions. Both are 2018 base RMK Axys 155's (non snocheck, no mods). I have the 2.6 track and he has the slightly smaller one. Other than that the only other difference is that I'm 240 pounds and he is 160. On the same groomed trail I'm running between 95° and 109° while he is 120°-130°. At the time we noticed this we both had scratchers down and were riding in a group during a fun run. 20-40 mph trail riding.
Is this difference normal?
Even off in the fluff he stays around 124° and I'm in the 93°-98° range.
I'm not worried about him over heating, it just seems odd to have that much of a temp difference.
Thanks!

temps

if you were riding a 17 and older 800 you would be seeing the same temps. 18s have a revamped head and colder thermostat and run cooler. there has been no changes to the 600 so those temps are normal.

Correct, the 600s did not get the new larger, lower opening temp T-stat like the 2018 800 sleds did.
