Sunday at Baker was incredible. There was about 2-3 feet of powder and a bluebird day. After last week's post about the groomer at Baker, I want to also take the opportunity to say that the road was in the best shape I have seen in quite some time. Thanks to the groomer for doing a great job.

Gotta agree, Baker was AWESOME yesterday. We didn't ride the road but the rest of the mountain was awesome. Powder and Sun everywhere. Wish we had more days like that. Pulled out of the parking lot just as it got dark and slept like a rock last night. AWESOME DAY on Mt Baker

Rode in fresh nearly all day.. without a doubt the best day I have seen in a long time..

YES! best ride of the year ha ha,,, 9 days in,,,, but great snow. Rode fresh lines all day, and you could jump anything and the landing was like a dreamy cloud. The road was groomed down very nice. just hope that it doesnt warm up cause it didnt look like a very thick layer of compact on top of the dirt. I doo however need some ice scratchers,,,, ooooweeee whats that smell? My Xp ran great,,, didnt get stuck once and ended up covered in pow for much of the day. Looks like were gona get some more snow this week,,,, hopefully we get some decent weather for next weekend

We all had a better day than 4 guys I know who spent the night on the mountain.. Glad to hear a few minutes ago that they all made it out on foot
..I was starting to freak out a bit..

Sounds like Baker is shapin up. Does anyone have an opinion about riding Baker on Tuesday (tomorrow)? I'll be coming from down south and love Baker but am concerned about the weather. The weatherman has been tellin lies straight from the pits of He!! again the the sunny sky forcast for tomorrow seems to be changing.

First and foremost for all the complaining about the road being so rough. Well you gotta get out there and fly down it after the groomer DID A VERY OUTSTANDING JOB..
The riding was great all day. Linked up with a great group of guys and we headed up big house and stopped at 8500'. No other tracks up there but ours. Not a cloud in the sky all day except one little one that got lost and hung around for about 20 mins. Then it was back to green flag powder riding.
And ditto the the ice scratchers..hifax are a little pissed but will make another trip!!
