So sorry to hear of the injuries but GREAT to hear he is still alive! My husband and I just watched 509 the other night and loved watching Matt ride! Phenominal rider! We wish him a speedy recovery!

I think we saw the break line yesturday from another peak but never dropped into that area to see the extent of the slide, however, judging by the break line - it looked big! Might even have a picture of it on a buddies camera. I was also wondering who made that mark on Slab - it was visible from a ridge over.

Headed for Surgery!

Thought i would update a little on Matt as I know that the boys in boise with him are busy!

Off the phone with them @ 4pm and he is headed into surgery around 5pm tonight. he is out of comma and able to move his eyes and feet to the doctors response. So it is a blessing today and all the prayers and thoughts helped him through it today...

things are looking good as they think they can get him all repaired and able to fully recover is the word.

So keep the thoughts and i'm sure John or Jeremy will post a full updated review after surgery tonight.

But thank god we didn't lose him and to jeremy for finding him and the boys for getting him out when they did!
