Avy Danger in Bighorns?!

Headed to the horns jan 23 for the first time staying at bear lodge, we got a guide but just wondered what if any avalanche danger was like out their and if we could rent beacons anywhere. I know you should always where one cause you never kno when it could happen, but does everybody where them around the horns?! we always where them at cooke and west yellowstone..jw

there has been a few so far this year and they just got some rain on top of the snow yesterday with snow on top of that ( according to the weather).. i wear one every time i ride the horns there are a decent amount of area's that are know to slide.. for the price its a good idea to buy one and know how/ practice using it.

There isn't a price tag for your life!!! It's a good ideal to wear a beacon.
