Just thought I would pass some info......
Was out riding Saturday in the Wyoming range. Seen over a dozen slides in our normal loop. 2 of them were pretty big. That is more slides in one day then I have seen in the whole 10 years I have been riding that area. The weather the night before was REALLY windy...about 1 1/2 foot of new snow. Nice blue skys during the day. Slope direction didn't seem to matter as I seen slides on east, west, and north slopes. Snow was getting very wet towards the end of the day. Just want to tell people to be very carefull and don't get to comfortable with slopes you think are safe.....they can ALL slide if conditions are right.
By the way....Avy site only listed conditions as MODERATE. scale of 2 out of 5. WAY off base
