Avgas Pro's and Con's for pump gas Turbo

We all know pump gas is shakey for quality at best and will only get worse with oxygenated fuel stratisfieing? out as it sits so what is so bad about avgas??? I have heard that it is TOO DRY but what does that mean??? I can get 100LL for around 4.00 a gallon and can rest somewhat assured that the quality is a far cry better than what I get at the pump and it will not flatten out in a couple of weeks so other than the lead screwing with the pipe probe what is wrong with running it in a pump gas turbo???? THANK YOU garry

:o;)I've got a 09 M8 race gas twisted turbo, I ran the first 1000 miles at 6lbs
on 92 octane with no problems, for the next 1000 miles I ran avgas up to 13lbs and the only problem I had was a bad air/fuel sensor. I've only been out 3 times this year and have switched to 110 Race fuel. My personal opinion is that avgas works fine! If your sled blows up its not my fault. Good Luck

Well you know why the pistons I put in your sled are called SPI because it wouldn't sound so good if they were SPIT pistons which I think is what your sled thought they were called.

Why did you switch to race gas? Gonna bump the boost up some more?

What elevation?

Av gas will be just fine Sensor problem can be fixed Call some reputable turbo dealers and ask

I jumped to race gas because my son is riding a o5 cutler m1000 turbo that likes hi test only, It's not worthwhile having to many differant types of fuel drums laying around the shop, I would rather keep it fresh! We are in southern B.C. so we ride 3000ft to 8500ft
