AVgas 100LL

I run it in my m8 turbo 12 psi at 1000ft alt.. It works great if u need to increase your octane and way cheaper than race gas. Only problem in 3000 miles is the pipe sensor went bad guessing from the lead in the av gas.

I acquired an old turbo Ski-Doo with a burnt piston. I replaced it, took it out and burnt it again, Then they told me that I needed to run race gas in it. I have access to a lot of avgas 100 so I was hoping that I could burn that instead. I was also hoping I could run it in my RMK 800.

Lots of guys out there running 100LL in there turbo's ... eiher straight or blended. Should not be an issue.

It's a waste in a non-turbo or mostly stock sled.

X2
Thats all we run. Works Very well for us. Turbo'ed

Anyone ever ran the blue 100LL avgas in their sled? I've only ran it in four stroke engines. Not sure how a two stroke would run on it.

I've run 50/50 100LL in all my sleds since 03, all RMK/Dragon 800 two strokes... some stock, some not. The 2011 Assault is going into it's third season and with all the internet hype about the piston skirt etc... I pulled the mono block last week just to check the top end... it was in excellent shape. Other than what w2bridin mentioned, it's possible that av gas could be hard on pipe sensors, I have never had to changed one and I must have close to 20 thousand collective miles on the last six sleds....
