Avalanche course

This is a must class for everyone. One sugestion is to get people from surrounding areas informed as well. We get people from CO, NE and all over. This is worth the time and doesn't cost that much especially when needed. Spread the word guys. Mike puts on a great class.

I registered last night. Coming for Omaha, trying to get a few other to head out for the class, then ride the weekend.

Just went to the avalanche training course by Mike duffy out here in minnesota earlier this week. It was a very informative course and it opened my eyes to alot of things. I would recommend taking it if you have the chance. That guy must put on some serious miles on the road!

Thanks everyone, we are getting some sign ups and it's looking good..
Was glad to see that powderpunk was ok after his encounter last week:)
Lets keep spreading the news and get a fullhouse for Mike!! Thanks again David..
PS rumors of 3-4 feet of new snow as of tonight,, So I will have to go check it out for myself in the morning:D

Well the rumor was true.. there was about 3ft of new snow down south:D:D
We had 3 turbos and it still took us 45 min. to get to the top!!!
Alright lets get back to the topic at hand. I have been getting some people registering at my e-mail and I have got you down. Remember we need you all to register in advance and you can pay at the door!! $40.00 per person.. Thanks to eveyone for keeping the thread going! and also for the reps:)
Now for the bad news.. I will be in Hawaii until the 2nd of Jan. so I will try to get back to emails as I can.. I hope the snow hits hard so when I come back it's full on!! Cheers all and Aloha David

Couple of the guys I ride with got into a slide south of Silver Lake yesterday.
Snow is very unstable in the Range right now. I have never seen this hill slide. Best to know, we will be there.

thanks boys on keeping the thread going.. No avalanches here in Maui! just sunburns.. I think the class is going to be pretty big in attendance. Can somebody smarter than me tape and post this thread in the Colorado thread?.. I would greatly appreciate it.. How is the snow?
