Avalanche Beacons: Is there a real Stand-Out Winner?

Reviews have also been leading me to the Pieps DCA Sport. The downside to Pieps for me, is that they were acquired by Black Diamond, the owner of which is pro non access for motorized vehicles. I decided to put that aside and purchased the DCA Sport this weekend. It sounds like a great device.

Non-motorized or not, safety comes first.

Well this thread is getting a bit dated. How far have things come? I am mostly looking for ease of use. Considering the Arva EVO4. seems like a pretty good deal at snowinn.com. anybody have on of them?
