Avalanche Awareness Class November 8th

Great and informative job!

I also wanted to say a big thanks to Paula and Gene from the sled shed for having it at there shop. Thank you to Michael,Brent, and of course Brandy for giving a sobering look at the dangers of not being prepared, and not having the proper safety gear to save somebody's life. I will be at the next class when it's on the hill with more real life like scenario's.

BE SAFE PEOPLE: Beacon,Probe,Shovel

Thanks Again

I have practiced and knew pretty well how to use beacons, etc. I learned alot on how to be more efficient. Knowing the beacon is key but knowing how to manage the situation is even more key. TAKE THIS CLASS. This was done in a controlled environment. Even then, you could see confusion. How much does a avalanche amplify that? Thank you Michael, Brent, and Brandy for helping us. $50 is nothing for this.

It was a refresher to me, and it just proved to me how much more I need to practice, and also showed me how much more I have to learn.

Thanks to all. Those that put it on, and also those that attended. By going the extra mile to educate yourselves you've done youself and the sport we all love, a huge favor.

BE SAFE PEOPLE: Beacon,Probe,Shovel, *PRACTICE*

There, I fixed it for you.

I'll try and post some pics this evening (yes I was the guy with the camera)

Thank you all for attending. What a great surprise to walk in and find out the 9 attendees turned into 44! WOW!!! :beer;

And a HUGE thank you to those who brought thier sons! :cool:

Nice to meet a few new faces there... and big booo to those of you who didn't come introduce yourselves! :eek:

I learn something new every class and this was my 5th (or more?) with Michael! So, if someone out there thinks they know it all and this won't benefit them... ya might think again! :rolleyes:

$50 is nothing for this.
No it really isn't....

I'll try and post some pics this evening (yes I was the guy with the camera)

If you could also email them to me at koyotekrazy@hotmail.com that would ROCK! :)

EDITED: I brought calendars for someone.... but no one spoke up! :(
