I just spoke to Paula - it is SUNDAY the 8th, not Friday the 6th as listed on the site. There are 6 people signed up currently. She needs to have commitments from 19 more people by Friday October 30th.

This is a GREAT class, lots of fun, and Paula and Gene are GREAT people. So sign up, learn some great info, and help support the people who are going the extra mile to support our sport!

You DO NOT need to have a beacon to take the class. There will be beacons to practice with. Hell, I'll let anybody borrow mine to practice with if they don't have one. And the deal on the beacon is ICING on the cake.

Seriously though, safety is important to me which is why I'm driving my butt up on the 8th to take this training and get prepared for the season.
