Av gas in a stock 900?

My buddy has a line on 2 drums of av gas, probably for free.
Is there any possible danger in running it in my 9?
Is there any benefits of running it on a stock motor?
To my knowledge av gas is just leaded high octane fuel... but any info you guys can share would be awesome... the opportunity is there for us but I want to know more about it first.

my bro and i have been running it in our sleds. his is stock with a pipe and head and my 975 runs good.

yes it is low lead 100 oct. run it i say

Right on, thanks Dawg, I'll just make sure it's the 100LL before we do anything with it. My only previous worry was the lead being hard on my exhaust sensor, but with the 100LL this shouldn't be much of an issue eh? I need to keep some for my dirt bike this summer, that thing pre-det's all over the place!

Yeah if its dyed red...no go thats 80/87...blue,green or purple aOK

It is also possible to mix it say 70/30 or 50/50 if you want. Check or double check octane rating and color. Elevation and mods sometimes warrant extra octane!

Dito, mix it 50/50 with 91 oct. non-oxy. You'll get twice the fuel & the performance difference will be negligible.

Well, it was confirmed for us... it is 100LL but it is old unsold stock, aprox 2 years or so. The reason the retailer would be willing to give it to us is that in order for her to sell it for it's intended purpose she would have to send it away to get tested. If she does not give it away, she will have to treat it as a waste product and have someone come, suck out the drum, transport and dispose of the product and container. Both options are expensive and make these drums nothing but a PITA for her at this point.
The friend who has this connection says he may use it, but I have decided not to. Thanks for all your comments, and help!
