Up here they have been having issues with truck fires due to faulty wiring and all the electronics to keep things able to start at very sub zero temps.
They came up with an "off the shelf" fix according to a safety bulletin that was released. In this bulletin there is a picture of a distribution panel that they are using that I'm trying to find.
Basically its set up like a breaker box, meaning that it has a busbar that runs up the back of the box to distribute the power to the tie ins. Each line has its own fuse, and each fuse has its own tie in with the busbar.
Clear as mud?
What this does is allow them to run battery blankets and everything else off of a single plug and not risk any issues...
So, do any of you have any idea what I'm talking about? I've found a patent that sounds kind of like what I'm talking about but haven't been able to find anything but more copies of that patent by searching the number...
