Assault/Dragon Handlebar Hooks?

What does everyone think of the new style 90 degree hooks that come on the assaults and dragons?

Didnt think i would like them but after one winter on the Assault I think they are OK.

I far perfer them over 45 degree bar ends. I like how they are right at the end of the bar, and not extending the bar farther out.

I love mine. although when adjusting them do not tighten them up super tight they hurt when you crash

I have an 08 with 45deg hooks..I have more than once slid a hand right off of them. I think they are more for looks than functionality IMHO. I had Knobers on my prior sled and like them better. I will be tossing the 45s this year for either knobers or 90's

i put the 90's on when i put my RSI bars on and i like them, way better then those 45's

I love them. Had them on my 02 800 Edge for years then took them off that and put them on my 08 800 Dragon when I bought that in December of 07. You get real used to them.

That pic was taken at a friends garage when we were all getting our sleds ready for last years season. I finally built my garage this fall so I can work on mine at home. I own 3 polaris 800's and that is it...nothing else in that garage is mine.....everybody I ride with pretty much has Doo's....last year at Cooke City there were 9 of us....8 on Doo's and me....I am no traitor

Anyone that has a set of these, I am looking for a set. The guy I bought my Assault from took them off. 2009 Assault with Pro-Tapers.

Yes.

I think the Poo 90 degree hooks only fit the Pro Tapers. The smaller hole in the end of 7/8" aluminum bars makes for a smaller hook end.

My 07 dragon had regular steel bars with the standard 45 deg hooks.

I have an 08, so I have the older style hooks on mine. But when switching to a friends 09 D8 or assault, I don't like them... They hurt my hands. Maybe I would get used to them intime though.

Sell my 45's to you? lol No way, I like them. It's the new 90's I don't like. I don't have the new style ones, I have just ridden sleds that do have them.
