Assault 155

I am new to this, so any help is greatly appreciated. I have 2010 Assault 146 which I want to stretch to a 155. Tracks USA has the track designed for the centre driver 2.86 and extension, local dealer is telling me I have to change the drivers I am not sure why? This does not make sense if the track is designed for the driver, can someone help?

You are better off posting on the Polaris IQ Forum...even though the guys here will know, you'll get better coverage...but it sounds odd to me (changing between 155 and 163 is simple..no driver changes)

Probably cuz he is trying to sell you the 155 polaris track that is for 2.52 drivers. If you get the new 2.86 camo ext 155 you will be fine, other than the tight clearance.

your dealer may think the tunnel clearance is to tight to run the ce. 2.5 lug hieght.
So your dealer may want you to run a smaller driver, which helps increase the clearance .
Or your dealer does'nt really know.
In my experiance ,go a head and order that track from tracks usa , easy install ,don't change drivers .( imo. the clearance is not a big enough problem)
You will love that track in the deep .

Thanks for the information, greatly appreciated, I think the dealer is worried about clearance, this is why they were talking about changing drivers, they did this once to me before about changing drivers on my other (07 Dragon)i just changed the track and had no problems. Thanks again for the reply.
