This one refers to fire fighting and it's pretty obvious that the Hidden Gems people are feeding the public BS again as they apparently are saying there are provisions for fire fighting in wilderness designations. Which is only partially true ie: they can fight fire in it but not by mechanized means. They appear to claim that there are provisions for fire fighting exclustions to the normal wilderness rules. THIS IS A LIE!!!!

Go Vote.

BTW...........you should be voting "yes"!!

C'mon guys, I can't believe more of you can't spend five minutes to comment and vote!

What a useless poll.

A less biased poll would be:

A: Is wilderness the best thing that could happen to aspen

B: or are you too stupid to read about how wilderness is the best thing that could happen to aspen?

You can't win, you've got obvious lefty freaks like this in the papers & morons on Fox on the other side, can't we JUST have some FREAKING UNBIASED MEDIA SOMEWHERE?????

I am just so sick of only being able to hear people that are so abundantly obviously biased to one side or the other.

I took the time to vote YES.

Poll results so far
YES 200
NO 122

I also signed up to the Hidden Gems info site so I could see what type of B.S. they are spewing info@whiteriverwild.org It's good to know what the opposition is up to.They asked all their supporters to vote against it.

This is a very misleading poll. A person who is against wilderness or a person who is for it could actually vote either way. As someone else stated, it should just be a vote for or against wilderness. But this is coming from the Aspen Times. Once we are at 75% against wilderness, expect it to get pulled again. In the meantime we can play along...
