So as we are slowly getting closer to riding season its a good time to start thinking about AST1 certification.
As we are all making sure our sleds are ready for the season we should also be thinking about training.

talk with the Canadian Avalance Center

I work with these guys on the avalanche scene for heli skiing. I know that Ian Tomm and others have been working hard to develop a program that gives you a basic level certification for sledding, which is a great idea

Where avalance awareness is for sledding is unfortunate, it is where heli-skiing was 20 years ago. The more we push training and awareness the beter things get for everyone!
