ok guys lets be honest here. . .

my cousin is coming up to ride this weekend in Washington and I want to make sure we have a good ride. I normally go to Baker and do the normal ride up to the cabin then down to the shelter below, I have been to GC and enjoy these rides with my buddies because its good for all skill levels. having said that, my cousin and I need something a little more CHALLENGING (we like the trees). This is my second year riding here in Washington so I am not over familiar with the area but some basic navigation is not a problem. I am ok to take a guide if you have your sh!t together! hit me up on this thread, PM me, or call. I appreciate your help and look forward to the response.

Lets make this happen!

Lake Ann, Van Epps, Gallagher

There is a warming trend right now and Lake Ann could be a little sketchy this weekend, especially after tomorrows rain up high, forecast snow level rising to 7200 ft. I was up yesterday and the snow is definately starting to settle, was able to go twice the places that we could go on Saturday, but also yesterday afternoon we saw some pretty good slabs let loose up high. I am hoping that the rain will be light and tomorrow nights snow will adhere before a freezing crust can form and all should be good. To all those venturing up into the Stewarts' area this week and weekend be prepared for avy condiotions and be safe, should be some good tree riding in Gallagher once again if to dangerous to be out in the bowls.

ok, im liking what im hearing here. it looks like this is central washington but I cant get google to put a point on it. I live in Whidbey Island so that would be a pretty long drive, looks like we should rent a cabin for the weekend if thats the case

Here is the loacation and forecast for the Gallagher area for the week, Gallagher Head/Lake is on Hawkins mountain out of Salmon La Sac. Head up trail and follow main road taking no side roads, at about 8 miles the trail will 180 and start to wind up the hill, go till the groomer stops and take immediate left into trees and follow the trail up, go across the bottom of the open face when out of the trees and start climb up wide chute for a couple hundred yards and take jeep trail to the right through trees and follow it up to the top, you are there, or just follow the crowd, secret is out after last weekend on the 4ft of new over last five days...enjoy
