Are we spoiled?

Me and the group I ride with are use to 2'-3' at the snow park. They dont seem to want to go to the eastern cascades. How far from the snow park is the snow at Ahtanum or Cold Creek? Is there a better snow park in that area?

Hey Woody, Not sure where you typically ride. When you say Cold Creek I think you mean "Gold Creek" This is not the east side. This is the snow park located off exit 54 at the top of Snoqualmie pass and can also be accessed from other areas on the eastern slope near cyrstal spring/stampede pass off ramp. I think the other sno park you mentioned is off exit 80 or 81 near Cle Elum but don't quote me on that.

Cold Creek Snopark is near Rimrock Lake. It will give you access to Section 3 and Pinegrass.

FYI: There is also a Gold Creek going west on 410 out of Yakima, towards Whistlin' Jacks/Nile

And Ahtanum is down southwest of Yakima.

There are other highways across the state besides I90, deadsled...
