Are TS parts available yet? Is Polaris trying to kill the snow donkey?

See the other thread I started about my fit kit for a Yamaha YZ450FX. If anyone from Polaris is reading this, they need to take note that they have totally screwed up what was a good thing. If you order a fit kit only to put an existing Timbersled on a new, different bike you will not get instructions or the fitment chart in your kit. Without it you will have no idea where and in what sequence the spacers need to be installed. Maybe they will read this and fix it for the rest of you that don't have your kits yet.

Mine didn't come with any paperwork either….. Lame

I just got my LE kit for my KX 500 and no paperwork. Any idea if you can print off for kit info anywhere. Need to now what bushings to use

WOW

I bet the original customer service staff at Timbersled is SO OOOOOOOO proud..... haha,,,, if they still have jobs???

WTF POLARIS.........

I hope they realize they're botching this change over...
Hope they're reading this...
Hope they make things right...

I like my Polaris stuff, I don't want to be disappointed...:face-icon-small-sad

At least one of the customer service staff at the original Timbersled is employed at a different business now.

All CS questions are now handled by the same system that takes care of other Polaris products.

I just got back an email from the factory that told me that all parts and CS has been moved to a central location... and that they hope to have the system up and running by the 18th of this month.

The fact is that Tsled went from a small local business...to a large multinational corporation... and the integration has not been seamless.

Dealers and loyal Tsled customers are becoming disappointed in the parts system right now... lets see if this system improves in the near future.

Hmm?

"Up and running by NOV 18th"

I'm sure glad there's not any snow around here yet..

Nothing like waiting till the last minute........

luckily there are several other companies building kits now to take advantage of this fail by polaris, that would happily give you customer service and sell you parts.

timberhorse

Ordered my fit kit a couple months ago,a little slow but came in tact with instructions...been put together waiting for snow no drama no crying just sayin...:juggle:

Why not order a CMX kit? It comes ready to mount. No waiting on a fit kit. No extra money to attach the kit. No poor designs that need $80 parts to cover up chain rub. No trimmed track because of chain rub. Quick and personal service when calling 406-686-4921. Free wheeling track that applies more HP to the snow. I watched them fit a kit to a 1989 Kawasaki.

Was seriously thinking about it,,,,,,,,,

I almost pulled the trigger on the CMX,,,,, but,,,,,,,, didn't have A GRAND laying around, so,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ordered my T-sled instead,,,,,,,, actually I haven't spent a dime on it yet, ,, I have a great relationship with the dealer.....

I do like the CMX kits tho,,,,,, nice high quality workmanship there...

Would be interesting to see how the grand is saved or spent over time. I have two winters on my CMX 137. I have bought parts but it is because I hit rocks/stumps. No workmanship or part failures. My ungreaseable bearings on the track and drive shafts are like new. The chain is in real good shape. No cracks in anything. The iceage rails are in like new shape.
MOUNTAINHORSE You should set up a sticky so we can compare these kits by a $$$$$ amount. A rating on customer service. Amount of time from ordering to receiving parts.

U bet

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that CMX quality is far above the competition.. I have possessed and been impressed by their quality, Mark and the boys definitely do good work..... I often wonder if Timbersled's quality would have gone up or down if the company remained independent... With that said, I also have to say, I have had nothing but great luck with the countless Polaris sleds I have owned.. Variety, they say is the spice, so, if there was only one choice, well, that wouldn't be very spicy..... I would love to have one of each!!!

I should probably add
If these toys are in my garage for three or more years,,,,,,,, it's unusual,,,,,,,.....

On to the next one.................
