Are there issues with deto on turbo pro's

I have BD turbo coming and I ride at 2000 ft a bunch. I don't plan on running big boost 8 psi max. I have read that some guys are saying that they are running into deto on the turbos. BD has not mentioned anything. What do people know.

turbo issues

With my turboed Dragon it still sputters abit a low elevation. I am going to try the low boost actuator for low elevation riding. The higher the elevation the more the turbo shines.

Yes, make sure there sending you a head!! Spark plugs are coming lose with 110 at 8000ft elev at 8# so good luck!!

I did see one set up by a dealer in Idaho that was giving the owner Deto flashes at anything over 7,000 RPM's at 8lbs. boost. He mentioned he was running 10% Avgas. I don't know what he did to resolve the issue.
