Kara, are you guys taking the camper and going to sure? I told P that we might be able to stay with you, and I told him he could babysit for you.... Man o man!!!!! I will never suggest anything like that again, that LOOK he gave me!!!!!!

Bwhahaha and you're still alive? Yep the plan is Arctic Man 2010 or bust! I am thinking that I will fly my parents up here for a week so they can visit/keep T and feed all the darn dogs.

I saw the parking a week ago in the Gwood Snowrider magazine. Initially i was surprised, but i think it will work out just fine. Arctic Man will still be arctic man.

Those who need somewhere to sleep.... I rent a RV every year from Clippership Motorhomes Rental, off of Old Seward near Peanut Farm. I'm a poor college student, so i just get as many friends as there are beds to go in on it... usually works out great. Last year i paid around $300, that included RV, Gas, booze, and some food... we squeezed 8 ppl in the 8 person RV... wasn't ideal, but it worked financially. One of our friends who went is an accountant, he kept close track of expenses and sent us this email after the trip:


Cost: Per Person:

RV: $800 $100
Liquor: $400 $50
RV Gas & Propane: $320 $40
Food: $395 $50
Parking: $220 $28
Beer: $200 $25

Total: $2340 $293


So basically, EVEN FOR THE POOEREST!!! with proper planning, is very do-able. Hope to see everyone there!
