Arctic Cat suspension in a dragon

You could make anything work......but why would you want to? IF your going to spend the time and coin why not put fox shocks on the RMK suspension? OR better yet, Upgrade ot a Ez-ryde or holz.

after breaking my rear torque arm last year i swapped out skids with an 07 m1000 last year and rode the whole day, suprisingly enough it actually held the ski's down better than a stock polaris skid, and we just bolted it into the stock polaris locations.

It would be cheap version of the holz alpha.. sorta.. the arctic cat suspension uses all fox shocks.. you can buy the upgrade minus the rails for 450 bucks.. thats with the float..

Did you have the upgraded suspension to the float shocks or was this still the torsion spring suspension?

Now Kinzer... you did get it to "bolt in" but from what I remember you did not have extensive time on it...

Would you recommend that someone buy a cat skid... bolt it in and assume that there will be no problems and it will be an improvement in handling for them??

The mounting points are different, the valving is way different etc.

Lots more to think about here than just bolting it in.

My gut tells me that unless you are willing to do a lot of trial and error work, and get different length rails.... you will not be getting anywhere near an optimum ride.

Worth looking into if you have a skid laying around and an RMK and M series to take measurements off of.
