Arctic Cat M7/M8 - BDX Intake

Was wondering for either the 2005 M7 or 2008 M8 would you need a fuel controller for the BD Xtreme Black Boxx intake.

I just installed the black dimond intake on a buddies 09 m8 and with a adjustable fuel regulator and so far so good no problems at all. In fact it's running realy good. And by the way we are running at 0 to 3000 foot elevation hear in Alaska. Just what we are doing here and whats working for us.

no, you can add more than that before you actually need a controller. if your worried you can always bump up to premium...

Can you run that intake w/ a SLP pipe and still be okay w/o a controller? Is anyone running that setup?

Thanks for all the answers guys. Happy to know that they are working well. I was in the middle of installing it and this thought came into my mind like "I sure hope that this thing doesn't need a fuel controller at all..."

My buddy runs speedwerx pipe, can, bdx intake, with no controller, and theres no problem, I'm running a slp pipe kit and bdx intake on a 09 hcr, runs awsome.
