I posted this in the engines and parts section but thought I would put it here too.
I have two 800 Cat cylinders bored to take the M1000 pistons to make a 975. The bridge between the main exhaust port and the post ports is cracked on three of the four, both on one cyl, one on the other. Still running good. I have a 900 cylinder that has run for three years that way. Heads have been cut to match as have the power valves. I will hone the cylinders. Will include cylinders, heads, exhaust valves and the cylinder base shims for $500 shipped in the lower 48. Can send pictures.
Upon cleaning an honing these are not in nearly as good shape as I thought. They have had pistons burnt in each one twice and it shows. They would run but should have a replate job. How about $250 shipped with the valves, heads, gaskets and shims?
