arctic cat 2 wheel kit help

i bought a arctic cat 2 wheel kit and it dosnt fit.

it came with a new shaft and some bolts and washers

i took the old shaft off the sled put the old spacer on the new shaft put on the new wheels and they are two wide for the lug tracks in the track
its about a half inch to wide

also the new shaft seems a bit to long also do i have to cut these down to fit? he told me its the only kit they have it fits all sleds 04 and up

the sled is a 04 mountain cat

I don't think you have to run the spacer on the new kit. The spacer is used for the three wheel application. Not sure of your set-up, photos would help.

so nothing goes between the wheels? the new shaft looks just like the old one only shorter there is not step up for the wheels to rest against

Most two wheel kits come with a spacer already built on the axle, then you dont use you factory one, if your factory setup has three wheels then the spacer would be to long, if it had four wheels like the 07/08 Ms then the spacer would work. BDX has a two wheel kit for twenty bucks that bolts right in and works great.

i just cut the spacer down a half inch should work fine thanks for your help
