Apex Turbo question...

Who makes a turbo for the Apex that you can run premium gas in it? I know that MCXpress makes one for the Nytro that everyone likes but do you get the same results on the Apex. Thinking about a turbo for the Apex next year and don't want to run race fuel. Are they mid mounts or front?

You can run pump gas in any kit you get if you put in a head shim to lower the compression. Your limited to about 12 psi.

On 91 octane(with head shim), my 07 Apex is said to make 260 hp at 12#. With low comp pistons, 310 hp at 17-18#. McXpress makes rear mounts, but Randy was running a mid mount last year on an Apex.
