Apex turbo problem

got another thing for you to look at

I am throwing this one out as it is what I just found wrong with mine thanks to Mark Liepenheimer, check your fuel filter. my sled passed the presure test seemed to flow good around 3 ounces out of it with initial key start. mine was running and would die on boost. I could drive it around all day as long as I didnt make much boost.

took the filter out and hard lined it fixed the prob. put filter back, problem returns. I am amazed as I only have a half tank of fuel threw the sled since the filter was installed. julio

That's what I'm thinking...not enough fuel flow.

As julio said above Or...if you are running a second fuel pump or second set of injectors you might be getting fuel from your stock fuel delivery system, which is good to about 10 or 12#'s, then either your second pump or auxilliary injectors are not working properly.

In my case it was a bad connector in the line supplying the power to the second set of injectors.

I would make sure your plugs are good i tried colder plugs and the sled would load up and cut out and run like chit. i would have to run it hard to get it to work, the other problems have always been fuel delivery to much fuel with the second pump or i would say maybe you should get a surge tank each turbo i have owned has run a little different and most problems have been fuel related and easy to correct. good luck:beer;:beer;

Damn! that sounds about right to me. Will check out asap. Thanks Guys, pressure tested good but dont think he tested on boost and it has been cutting out at around 10pounds but runs great up till then. I am running a MSD that sits under the seat. Where is secondary pump at? Filter?
