can you guys tell me what kind of fox shocks I should be looking for, for the rear skid.....was thinking timbersled, but from what I'm reading on here, sounds like I would squish it. Thanks

dude timbersled is not fox,if you wanna run fox call the experts in your area,if your stock or close you can do a lot to the stock skid and make it work wonders, even with boost,if stock,leave the skid stock,if minor mods,minor to the skid,pm me for ideas but with a name like "BLASTER" i think your not f'n stock,rip it,BUT..if your going boost,only m-10,ONLY

I would like to just put Fox Floats in the stock skid, but from what I have been told that is not possible. If you know something otherwise I am interested....

Not hard at all...

Just know the C-C compressed and decompressed. Rebuild the shocks to the right C-C's and there's no prob.

I've done it for a custom built skid.. Cost me ~100$ + shocks.. :beer;

Nextech makes a kit. You can remove the torsion srings too. Saves about 7-8 lbs. I think.

or this guy on TY did it: http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=71510

I personally haven't heard too may opinions on this Nextech kit, I'd like to here more. Seems like a good options for someone who wants to keep the stock skid for durability reasons, but wants to lighten it up a bit.

I built a bracket and did a few mods to allow the install of a float on the back of mine. It was a few hours of fab time to get the geometry right, I already had an extra set of front float shocks. I weigh 270 and with the shock set at 25psi and the factory springs on the high setting, I could hammer it over 1-1/2 ft whoops with zero bottoming. The ride quality is much better as well. It works way better than stock. All this and it helps to keep the skis a little closer to the ground. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.

Here's my setup....
