Hi,
I received my CR Tunnel and M10 mounting plates yesterday - I cannot wait to get this thing put back together! Here are a coulpe pictures - no directions included, lol!!

1. Should the tunnel be slotted for where the rear of the mounting plates drop through the tunnel - mine is not, what is the best way to do this without screwing up the powdercoat? Any close up pics would be great.

2. Received a piece of alluminum angle with some pre drilled holes - any ideas on where this goes?

3. Does the rear skid mount to the plates only, or is there a backer the goes on the back side? Do these plates go up front for a reinforced mounting (inside)

Sorry for all the rookie questions - just trying to do this right the first time!!

ive done one on my nytro and the tunnel does need to be slotted . i used a zip disk and cut out where the plates need to go through . #3 those plates go on the rear mount under the tunnel and attach to the side plates . not sure on the other parts

I thought the same about #3, but i also thought they might go in the front and mount on the inside of the tunnel. There are no front holes in the mounting plates. Any more suggecstions or tips would be greatly appreciated. :D

I plan on calling Chad on Monday! With the number of CR Tunnels on the Yamaha board I figured some one might have some insight after installing one. Thanks

Yep, the tunnel needs to be slotted. Just tape off the area to help with powdercoat chipping.
