Apex 19T 290 / Nytro 19T 270 - Boost ?

Can some one tell me what the 19T 290 Apex guys run for boost at 6000-7000ft on pum premium ? I know 100Kpa is what they run at sea level which is 14.5psi.

Also what do guys run on the Nytro 19T 270 at 6000-7000ft on pump premium ?

I have been told some guys run their Nytros anywhere from 17-18psi at altitude. Also been told never above 14psi which doesnt make sense to me.

I have been told some guys run there Apex 290s on 15-16 psi on pump and then have also been told some would never go above 12-13 psi on the Apex 290. I know there is a lot of variables and some are more conservative than others.

I have been running my 16T at 12-13 psi on pump for years without a hiccup ever. So lets hear it. Throw in some air fuels if you have em !
 
my 19t on nytro will see 17-19 lbs @ 6-7,000' on pump fuel.
10,000 k on that motor :face-icon-small-hap
 
Randy that motor is bone stock correct?? Just a shim?? Is there any noticable difference on the bottom end from the 16T to the 19T?? thanks Brendon
 
Yup all stock only shim. Im pretty thick so I can't remember any noticeable diff in the bottom end hit of either of them.:face-icon-small-hap

I have been inquiring of the same info this week and RS answered my questions of going with 19T 18lbs PG.... I'm hoping this will be an excellent riding year with new Nytro.

Thistlee how is my old Apex progressing.

I've rode both, didn't feel much difference between the two. Was on different days tho.
 
The diffrence is that 19T have a bigger compresor side than 16T, and can deliver air for more HP, another way to notice the diffrence is that 19T can give same HP @ altitude as 16T do @ sealevel.
I did feel a little diffrence in responce due to the fact that 16T have a few more ponies @ same boost level, not much, but i did the testing and swapping @ the same day.
